According to research from a Harvard University economist, fracking-led oil and gas operations are a game changer for the U.S.
The report, which was conducted by Harvard Business and Boston Consulting Group, states: “Our analysis shows that developing unconventional resources today is unlikely to delay the rollout of renewables. Instead, it can actually enable their scale-up.” Other than helping the renewable energy sector grow, the industry is also expected to add millions of jobs by 2030. During an interview with NPR, Harvard Economist Michael Porter said hydraulic drilling “is a game changer” and has already benefited the U.S.’ gross domestic product.
