On Monday, Midstream MLP Energy Transfer Partners shared it has plans to invest $1.5 billion in an expansion project in southwestern Pennsylvania.
The project consists of a new pipeline network and related support facilities that will be located in Butler County. It will provide 440 million cubic feet per day of capacity and will support a long-term midstream agreement Energy Transfer has with EdgeMarc Energy. As part of the agreement, Energy Transfer is receiving EdgeMarc’s Constellation pipeline in Butler County where EdgeMarc already has over 20 drilled wells and 25,000 leased acres.
