Overview

Keystone offers turnkey management for all facets of temporary and permanent water pipeline construction projects for natural gas production and completions operations, including permitting and engineering, design, site visit analysis, ROW acquisition, water sourcing, materials and equipment procurement, installation, quality assurance inspection, hydrostatic testing, and operations.

With certified HDPE poly pipe fusion technicians on staff who have the ability to fuse pipe of varying sizes and pressure ratings, Keystone can engineer solutions to challenging transfer operations such as extreme terrain, long-range pumping distances, high total dynamic head conditions, high pressure zones, and high velocity pumping.

Keystone is experienced in installing above ground and below ground water transfer lines, including the installation of all necessary E&S controls and complete pipeline restoration.

Unlike other water transfer companies, Keystone is managed by an experienced team of field operation specialists who understand the regulatory environment within which they operate and can execute all transfer projects in compliance and in an environmentally safe way.

Keystone has recently completed several complex pipeline construction projects serving the water transfer needs of E&P Operators and Midstream Companies operating within the Marcellus and Utica Formations.   • Installation, HDPE Fusion, Intake Construction, and Pump Operations of a 4-mile HDPE temporary pipeline in Western Pennsylvania in support of Water Transfer Support Operations.

Intake Construction

Intake-ConstructionKeystone’s experienced staff of professional geologists and professional engineers maintains significant experience in the permitting, design, and construction management of high-volume fresh water intakes for particular use in oil & gas production. Keystone is experienced in the installation of both submersible pumping systems and high-head suction pumps, depending on the specific terrain and conditions of the particular intake location. Keystone’s professionals can design and construct a fresh-water intake or municipal meter station in conjunction with temporary and permanent pipeline development projects.

Environmental Protection

Keystone maintains significant experience in the engineering, design, construction, and management of project designs and permits to ensure pipeline projects have minimal environmental impact and are planned appropriately. Keystone’s experienced team of seasoned professionals can properly and efficiently plan the installation of E&S controls, including trench plugs, water bars, filter socks, erosion control matting, and coffer dams. Likewise, Keystone obtains requisite permits for stream and wetlands crossings where they cannot be avoided.

Site restoration is one of the most critical components of completing pipeline construction projects in an environmentally sensitive way. Keystone is experienced in ensuring that upon completion of a pipeline project, the pipeline route is properly re-graded, planted, and restored to its original form.
